Innovation ecosystems and HRM practices in SMEs

Résumé

Territory and innovation erase the boundaries of entrepreneurship by promoting the emergence of ecosystems that are partially composed of SMEs. What are the HRM challenges in the entrepreneurial territorial dynamic of this type of business? This article seeks to understand the changes in HRM and SMEs when belonging to an ecosystem of innovation. To understand the relationship between ecosystems of innovation and HRM in SME practices, we have put together the contextualisation approach of Pichault and Nizet (2013). A qualitative study was conducted amongst four SMEs located in the Grenoble ecosystem. The result revealed that their HRM does not follow the same path
